just like a princess...

Having a little girl has re-sparked my love for tutu's and everything princess. I found this adorably delicious dress for myself - it's a French ballerina tutu dress. I love, love, love it. Lennon and I were twirling together in our tutu's last night. Such fun.

oh baby...

I was reading the list for The 100 Most Popular Baby Names of 2009 and I wasn't surprised that Lennon wasn't on there, but I was surprised that Oliver was. Wow! We had so many negative comments when we told people we were naming our first boy Oliver. We always liked the name - it's distinguished, sweet, and not popular (at least not at the time). I wonder if Lennon's name will ever be on a list. Not likely, huh?

Of course, reading the list just made me have baby fever. And I found a few more names that I really liked. So, if we have 4 more children - I can use all the names I like. Otherwise, I need to have alot of household pets!

Anyhoo, here's the list in case your interested in having another baby (or pet)...

author unknown...

"There comes a times in life when you have to let go of all the pointless drama and the people who create it and surround yourself with people who make you laugh so hard that you forget the bad and focus solely on the good. After all, life is too short to be anything but happy."

just dreamy...

I love, love, love this dress designer. I found her on Etsy (my current obsession). Are her dresses just dreamy? The perfect wardrobe for the princess inside us, who loved castles, Alice in Wonderland, horses and unicorns, all things French, fantasy, and pink, pink, pink. Just dreamy.

let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

So, like a week later I'm blogging about it, but it actually snowed here in Houston. Yes, I know your northerners are laughing at the amount of snow we got and how crazy and excited we all got (school closures, adults laughing with glee like little children on Christmas morning), BUT if you've lived in Houston your whole life...snow is a B-I-G deal. I was super excited, especially when Oliver told me his plans for the snow day, "make an angel in the snow and throw snowballs at daddy." Lennon, on the other hand, was not excited about the snow. ALl she would say, "I wet, I wet." It was a cold day - if you can't wear flip-flips in Houston it's damn cold, but the snow was a nice was to start the Christmas holiday season. I hope we get this gift every year.
